Gynecology

The majority of our patients come to us for their annual exam. The purpose of the annual exam is to screen for possible female cancers. The Pap smear screens mainly for cervical cancer, while the pelvic exam helps to screen for ovarian cancer. Mammogram and breast exam are the screens for breast cancer. Uterine cancer usually presents as abnormal bleeding, usually after the age of 40.
